About Us
Established in 2011, East West Nursing College & Institute (EWNC & NI) is approved by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, affiliated with the University of Dhaka, and recognized by the Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC).
Our Philosophy
At EWNC & NI, we believe philosophy is an attitude toward life that guides actions and decisions. Our philosophy of education is built on a set of beliefs that shape the development and implementation of our academic programs.
The nursing profession is dedicated to providing health services to people of all ages—whether sick, well, or in critical stages of life. As faculty members, we are committed to nurturing learners in three key domains:
Cognitive skills – building strong theoretical knowledge.
Psychomotor skills – developing practical clinical expertise.
Attitudinal growth – fostering compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
Our teaching methodology emphasizes a learner-centered approach, enriched with guidance, counseling, and mentoring to promote competencies according to the needs of each student.
We believe our graduates will emerge as future leaders, prepared to face the challenges of a rapidly evolving global healthcare sector. Alongside academic excellence, we encourage students to cultivate moral values such as responsibility, honesty, and loyalty, enabling them to grow not only as skilled nurses but also as exemplary human beings.
Vision
To build a strong reputation and contribute to the betterment of society by producing qualified, skilled, and compassionate nurses who provide standard, ethical, and patient-centered care.
Mission
Our mission is to generate, disseminate, and apply knowledge that advances nursing care for individuals, families, and communities.
We are committed to creating policies and programs that address the growing demand for registered nurses both within Bangladesh and abroad.
